Growing up in the ’80s and with over 20 years of leadership experience in corporate marketing, Chris knew three things very well: ’80s pop culture, business, and this crazy but totally awesome thing we call life.

He left his 20+ year corporate marketing career and combined his expertise to become a keynote speaker and author focused on the life, work, and legacy lessons we can learn from ‘80s pop culture.

Chris believes the best lessons for life and work come from the most unexpected places and people. ‘80s pop culture is one of those places, and the amazing and entertaining characters that populated it are those people.

As a keynote speaker, Chris has spoken to a diverse set of organizations and companies, including VISA, the University of Florida, Penn Medicine, DHL, Duke Health, the Association of Golf Merchandisers, and more.

As an author, Chris created the popular book series The Ultimate Series on Essential Work & Life Lessons from ‘80s Pop Culture, which currently comprises three volumes.

Chris has been interviewed by global powerhouse media organizations such as FOX, NBC, CBS, USA Today, Newsweek, Esquire UK, and more. He’s also moderated numerous ‘80s pop culture panels, including reunion panels for The Goonies cast and the original MTV VJs.

He’s super passionate about animal rescue, and in addition to volunteering his time, he also donates a portion of the proceeds from his book sales and keynotes to rescues.

Chris lives by the quote from the ‘80s pop culture poet laureate, Ferris Bueller, when he said, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop to look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
